SSME is a national, non-profit professional organization found in 2003. SSME is involved in the continuum of medical education via educational meetings, networking events, publications and our Web site.

SSME mission is to develop professionals in the field of medical education and advocate the value of medical education in health care.

SSME vision is to promote and develop quality in all aspects of medical education in Saudi Arabia

Aim

SSME aims to promote excellence and scholarship in all aspects of medical education by backing faculty and educational enhancement, and encouraging research in medical education.

Objectives

1. Foster the professional development and career satisfaction of members;
2. Provide support, guidance, and resources to members;
3. Develop a professionalism charisma in medical and health education;
4. Facilitate exchange of publications and ideas in medical and health education between relevant bodies and institutions within and outside the Kingdom;
5. Collaborate with other medical education organizations to pursue common interests.
